Matthew Hopkins
I’m a director of photography based in Sydney, working across narrative film, documentary and commercial projects. My work is built around restraint — finding the single frame that carries the weight of a scene, and letting mood do the talking.
Over the past decade I’ve collaborated with directors, brands and studios to craft imagery that feels considered and cinematic. I travel for the right story and am always open to conversations about new work.
